Services

Alex’s brief was to capture the scientific activities and methods aboard [the RRS James Cook] to help the Britice-Chrono project communicate beyond just the scientific world. We have been amazed at just now well he portrayed the work and the people with a distinctly pithy and artistic slant. At the premiere of his work at our annual meeting, all were impressed, both technically and with the level of human feeling in the pieces. Films and images to inspire; just what we needed.

Field, WEB AND TECH Support

In addition to image curation, social media strategy development and tech/logistical support, Alex has substantial fieldwork expertise. For terrestrial projects with fieldwork components, this experience is particularly valuable as it allows him to conduct his work without disruption to the research schedule. For projects with challenging logistics or limited budgets, with a scientific background himself, he is qualified to move between field support and content creator; able to cover both roles equally.

With substantial field expertise on both terrestrial and offshore expeditions, and a portfolio spanning a wide range of disciplines, Alex's work includes:

  • field assistance

  • technical consultancy

  • web design

  • image curation

  • branding
